Gary Lange, Ph.D. has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Rancho Mirage, CA since 1990 where he has treated thousands of gamblers, alcoholics, addicts and their families. He has been a certified Gambling Counselor since 1995 and is Chair of the Training Committee for the California Council on Problem Gambling. Dr. Lange holds International and California Certifications as a Gambling Counselor and serves on the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board and is an Approved Clinical Consultant (BACC).
He has been a Certified Addictions Specialist for 30 years, has worked at the Betty Ford Center and has published numerous articles on treating gamblers and their families. Dr. Lange is a professor with California State University, and is an international public speaker on gambling addiction-related topics. Additionally, he is a provider and supervisor for California Gambling Education and Treatment Services program.
