Purpose:
Gambling Disorder has adverse effects on the family as well as on the gambler. Spouses, parents, children and others have been on a roller coaster of emotions, behaviors and consequences. While the gambling is active and before the family seeks assistance, the downward progression can create serious relational, financial and legal problems. This webinar reviews the problem stages, as well as the stages of recovery from the crisis to the thriving phases. Participants will learn the importance of educating and motivating the families to make healthy, protective changes whether their loved one is in recovery or is still gambling.
