Class Description
This session shows how social media and podcasts can support gambling recovery and treatment. We cover the good and the bad of media influence, then walk through practical steps for creating ethical, effective content that reaches people in pain. Learners leave with clear hooks, simple structures, and a repeatable workflow they can use right away.
Ethical Use Note
This class discusses social media and podcasting as recovery-support and outreach tools. Engagement structures such as hooks, P.A.S., S.T.A.R.T., and calls to action should be used ethically to provide accurate education, hope, connection, and referral to appropriate supports. Recovery-focused content should not exploit distress, imply diagnosis, promise outcomes, or replace individualized clinical treatment, crisis support, or professional assessment.
