Purpose:
During this hour-long session, we will take an in-depth look at many of the most popular forms of gambling, assessing which types of gamblers are most likely to prefer each form, and learn new terminology and lingo specific to each game.

Participants will learn the differences between action, escape and other types of gamblers, and which types of gambling each of these gamblers most commonly prefer. They will also learn many of the most common terms gamblers use when discussing their games of preference.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand, in detail, the difference between action, escape and other types of gamblers;
  • Identify and understand many of the most common gambling terms for a variety of gambling formats, including casino and sports betting;
  • Differentiate the types of gambling games that occur in various venues, both legal and illegal.
